About Us

What we do at Pollardine

Hedgerows

We have been awarded funding from the Shropshire Hills AONB and The Woodland Trust to plant an additional 40 metres of hedgerow on the farm to connect existing corridors.

Woodland & Forestry

Jane and Roger Hulton-Harrop have completely transformed the landscape by planting trees since they moved here in the 1980s.

Meadows

After receiving a detailed survey of the flora on our farm from The Shropshire Wildlife Trust, we have started managing two of our fields as hay meadows. They will be surveyed again in spring.

Venue Hire

In 2018 we built a timber building inside one of our old farm sheds. With a spacious meeting area, a kitchen, two toilets, disabled access and a stunning view, it’s the perfect location for a day away from the office.

The Daffodil Field

2020 will be the fourth year the daffodils have flowered. Why not spend a wonderful day in the Gatten Valley taking a walk around the field of gold.

Local History

We are currently working with our neighbour and local historian to learn more about the history of the Gatten Valley, apparently once known as ‘Goat Valley’.

Guest Reviews

Lovely to be greeted by a warm room and a lit log burner after such a wet morning. A great place to hold a meeting, we were all very impressed and will use it again for an ‘Away Day’ event. Highly recommended.
